It’s a lamentable fact that Justin Herbert, the promising young quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers, hasn’t been given the support he needs from his team. 🏈
Justin Herbert is an exceptional talent who has shown remarkable promise since joining the league in 2020 as a first-round draft pick out of Oregon. His skill set and potential are undeniable; however, it seems like his talents are being wasted on a team that fails to provide him with adequate assistance.
Herbert’s performance has been nothing short of stellar despite facing numerous challenges. He broke several rookie records during his debut season including most touchdown passes by a rookie and most 300-yard games by a rookie. Yet, these individual accomplishments do not seem to be enough due to lackluster performances from other areas of the team.
The offensive line struggles have been apparent throughout last season which resulted in Herbert getting sacked multiple times per game. This constant pressure takes its toll physically and mentally on any player especially someone still early in their career like Herbert.
Furthermore, there seems to be inconsistency within coaching staff decisions which further hampers progress for this budding star quarterback. The revolving door of coaches does not allow for consistency or stability – key elements required for any player’s development.
Additionally, while there have been bright spots among some wide receivers and running backs supporting Herbert on offence, overall depth and quality appear lacking when compared with other competitive teams around NFL.
Defense too isn’t helping much either – they’ve struggled all year long allowing opposing offenses far too many points making it harder than necessary for offense led by Herbert to keep up or take leads during games.
Special teams also remain problematic with frequent mistakes causing unnecessary hardships such as poor field positions at start drives putting extra burden on already struggling offense unit again led by our protagonist here – Mr.Herbert!
All these factors combined make us question whether Chargers management is doing everything they can to protect their investment in this rising star. For a player with Herbert’s potential, it is crucial to have the right infrastructure in place that allows him to thrive.
It’s important for the Chargers to realize that they possess one of the brightest young talents in NFL today and should focus on building around him. The team needs an effective offensive line, consistent coaching staff decisions, reliable receivers and running backs as well as improved defense and special teams play.
In conclusion, Justin Herbert deserves better than what he has been given by Los Angeles Chargers so far. If changes are not made soon at various levels within organization – we may see this promising talent’s career getting wasted or worse yet – cut short due to lack of adequate support from his own team!
